Get in the loop, fashion boutique at Haji Lane, 1st Anniversary!!!

FABULOUS FADS store has drawn a lot of interest from CLEO, COSMOPOLITAN, URBAN and many other magazines since its launched at Haji Lane.
Read about it at the April issue of Australian Cosmopolitan of FABULOUS FADS fashion find.

The fashion boutique reached its 1st anniversary this coming 4th of April. How time flies, I feel like it was only yesterday, when I saw people swamping to the only shocking pink shop in 80 Haji Lane to catch a glimpse of all the rumoured fuss that had been building up about the shop. The shop that was going to sell fashion from indie brands from UK and Europe.
The rumour was true, and the shop is a famous stop for all fashionable women that seek quality and unique designs. The gender gap cease to exist as you see ladies in their teens to women in their forties walk away with a great buy from the store.

It has already been in the March issue of URBAN magazine, look out for it!

I like to leave a note that I'm on the list of invites and cannot wait for the big FABULOUS event! Getting to taste the gorgeous cake!!! I am having my cake and eating it too.

Cheerio till the next update xxx

THE OUTSIDERS- Stay Gold: Paying Homage to the 80's

pictures from towatchpile.co.uk
Talking movies that laminates the 80's would be 'The Outsiders' featuring great actors from Ralph Macchio, Rob Lowe, Matt Dillon, the late Patrick Swayze, C. Thomas Howell, Tom Cruise and Emilio Estevez. A movie directed by Francis Ford Coppola of an adaptation of S.E Hinton novel.

From movies to fashion. 80's fashion fads were tight-rolled skinny jeans, fluorescents colors and side ponytails. Yet, somehow like fashion, all other fashion fads in different eras, the past haunts us evolving in this 21st century.

But what is interesting, we are drawn somehow to its quintessential charms of the 80's. The awkward age of embarking to something revolutionary, at least, that is what seems to be portrayed in fashion and movies.
The movie HOT-TUB time machine is right on the money. A scene with a guy going on about his phone to a friend while skiing, which at that time cellphones were of a rare contraption was comic treasure. Now we can even blog on our phones on top of a mountain, not that I am at this moment in time...on top of a mountain. Depending on phone reception obviously, which hopefully be a thing of the past.

Owning the 80's, either you hate it, love it or can't relate, it is there to stay. Be it movies, music or fashion. Signing of as a big fan of all the actors in the movie Outsiders, can't get enough of them. Hopefully, some of them that are not making movies currently, get due recognition of their contribution to the film industry.

HAIRSTYLES 2012: Fabulous haircuts and trends at The HAIR-BASE.

Every women knows that a look can't be completed without a great haircut or hairdo. Most importantly finding the right hairstyle that suits you. I have coloured my hair, blond, red, black and brown. Cut it in almost every style that is imaginable from short bob to long layered styles.
The worst experience I had was to leave a salon looking worst off than I came in.
I am glad to blog that I found a great hair salon with hairstylists that were born to be in this profession. Even though I had to travel half way across the world to get my hair done. A luxury I might add. It is just well worth it!!!!

Look them up if you're in the vicinity.

Angie rocking out the leopard print dress from Pink Label London available at the Fab store. She makes the wild prints look like a cute baby leopard. (No animals were harmed making this dress!)

Below featuring Angelica and Paulina, models at Fabulous Fads Fashion Event held recently at Clark Quay wearing leopard prints.

Fabulous Fads crew hanging out, another fun day at the store! Fahh wearing ritzy crystal tiger ring. It is always nice to wear a bit of bling.

Be it monochromatic or and injection of colours to your prints, bottom line your personal style and confidence to wear it, is what makes your look work. You can try it on, as subtle as the shades on your nails. A little embellishment goes a long way.

But if subtle does not cut it and you are the type to don on prints from head to toe, ready to take over the world, I guess no one can stop you. Not even the fashion police.

As LMFAO puts it "You're sexy and you know it" have a bit of fun, we deserve it!!!.
